The Preceptor Academy has held two workshops and certified two groups of nursing preceptors for HMH. These preceptors are back on their units, sharing best practices, guiding our new nurses through the transition process, and laying the foundation for a Preceptor network within our facility.

To become a certified nurse preceptor or maintain “preceptor status” for HMH, all new & incumbent preceptors must be accepted into the Preceptor Academy.
