Creating Effective Communicators Through Leadership and Learning Classes

Being an effective communicator and engaging in meaningful dialogue with colleagues and employees is key to building leadership success.
If you are interested in enhancing your leadership communication skills and learning how to communicate effectively with others, even when the stakes are high, opinions vary and emotions run strong, join the Academy for Leadership & Learning in an upcoming Crucial Conversations course.    Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue is open to all employees
Crucial Accountability
 and provides learners with the opportunity to:
  • Identify when situations and conversations become crucial
  • Create an environment of safety where others feel comfortable sharing their ideas and opinions openly
  • Gain control of their emotions, even during high-stakes dialogue
  • Share their own opinions without shutting down contrary views 

Additionally, upon completing Crucial Conversations, participants are eligible to attend , an add-on course designed to build upon the concepts learned in Crucial Conversations. This course focuses on effectively holding others accountable, building teamwork and engagement, improving efficiency and motivating others by starting on the right foot.     These courses and many others are now available for registration in the LMS. Whether you are an employee looking to grow in your role and build upon your skillsets or a formal leader working to develop their leadership competencies further, we encourage all employees to explore the Leadership & Learning SharePoint site to find the right course to support their leadership development needs!   Additional leadership courses include options such as:
